- - The Exergy Tour international ladies pro cycling race today revealed the selected host cities for the 2012 inaugural race, which will be held May 24 andndash; 28 in Idaho.
- - Event promoter Midwest Cycling Series, LLC, has announced the 2012 schedule for the Tour of Americaandrsquo;s Dairyland presented by Wisconsin Milk Marketing Board (andquot;ToADandquot;). The omnium competition will travel throughout 11 Wisconsin communities, June 21 - July 1, and include four dates on the USA Cycling National Criterium Calendar (andquot;NCCandquot;).
- - The world governing body of professional cycling Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) selected Greenville, S.C. to host the UCI Para-Cycling Road World Championships in September 2014. This event is projected to include more than 450 athletes and 200 coaches and staff from over 45 countries. The Para-Cycling Road World Championships have not been hosted by an American city since Colorado Springs, Colo. in 1998.
- - USA Cycling is pleased to announce that the Union Cycliste Internationale approved the addition of the SRAM Tour of the Gila located in Silver City, N.M. to the UCI America Tour calendar as a category 2.2 race.
- - USA Cycling announced today the 12 teams registered as UCI Continental Teams in the United States, as well as the two U.S.-based squads registered as UCI Womenandrsquo;s Teams for the 2012 racing season.
- - USADA announced today that, Michael Diamond, of St. Augustine, Fla., an athlete in the sport of cycling, has accepted a two-year suspension for an anti-doping rule violation based on his refusal to submit to a sample collection.
- - After reviewing more than 100 submissions from cities throughout California hoping to be named official start or finish locations, AEG, presenter of the Amgen Tour of California, has announced the 13 official Host Cities for the 2012 race. Considered Americaandrsquo;s largest and most prestigious professional road cycling stage race, the seventh consecutive edition of the Amgen Tour of California will travel more than 750 miles from May 13 andndash; 20, 2012.
- - The Tour of the Battenkill, set for April 15 in Cambridge, N.Y., has been added to the 2012 USA Cycling National Racing Calendar (NRC).
